Nation, Nationalism and its ways

Nationalism is a political ideology that involves a strong identification of a group of individuals with a political entity defined in national terms. But for me, nationalism is a form of patriotism in which, you do everything for your country. If you want your country to be a clean and a pollution free country, do everything you can do to make your country clean. Do not wait for someone to tell you to clean your surroundings. You are a citizen of your country and you are responsible for your country’s surroundings. Nationalism is also a form of love and appreciation for your country. Nationalism is also used in war. like Dr. Rizal did. He made novels to make the Filipinos united and raise arms against the Spaniards. Another example are the revolts. They want to be free against the abuses of the invaders to them. They held the revolts for their country to be free.

A nation may refer to a community of people who share a common language, culture, ethnicity, descent and/or history. Our country is a nation because we share the same language except for the others. Every people in a nation must be united to overcome the problems that will happen. A nation can also refer to people who share a common territory and government.

Ways of Nationalism:

In war, revolts is a way to show nationalism. It shows how the people show their love for their country to be free against the invaders like in our history, the leaders of the revolts chose to die to show their love for their country. Another example is the Propaganda movement. The Propagandists wrote books, novels or make organizations against the invaders. One good example is raising the national flag while going to battle. This shows that they care, love and appreciate their country.

In the community, we clean our surroundings so that our country will be clean. We should respect our national flag. We stop doing things when the national anthem is sung, also sing our national anthem. This is one of the problems and the most important thing we should know, DO NOT DISCRIMINATE!! Do not discriminate each other, do not be boastful. Even though you discriminate other people, it is not only you that is affected, even your own defectiveness. Do not discriminate especially our own countrymen, its rude when you do that. There are many ways you can do to show nationalism in your community.

Remember, these ways can help you love your country in your simple ways. be proud of what you are and also, be proud of your country!!According to Peter Singer: I don’t think nationalism is alone holding the field; it’s in contention with a lot of different things. For me: Appreciate your country and your country will appreciate you. So, God Bless you and your country!

“No layups!” is a constant refrain in the NBA playoffs, but rarely does it so directly determine the outcome of a game. Jason Kidd may be 38 years old, but he still lives that shit, delivering a double-armed takedown of Wade on a breakaway. Wade couldn’t get the easy two, and then, still shaken by the J-Kidd collision, missed one of his two subsequent free throws. Maybe he thought Kidd was going to throw a cookie at him?
Kidd reached deep for the strength to foul this hard. He thought of his jealousy, when Jim Jackson stole Toni Braxton. He remembered the white-hot rage of Alonzo Mourning when he attacked Kenyon Martin for making fun of his bad kidney. He thought of the stupid face Keith Van Horn made every time he thought he was fouled, and how infuriating that was. But mainly, he remembered growing up on the mean streets boulevards of the Oakland Hills, going to prep school on the hardscrabble island of Alameda, and how it felt during college, when his favorite Berkeley cafe ran out of the organic tabouleh, and he had to eat his falafel with the regular kind. And all that resentment turned into pure aggression that denied Dwyane Wade’s dunk attempt.

Dirk Nowitzki’s official theme song! Hey if anyone out there wants to cut a video of Dirk’s performance tonight set to this song, or better yet, the Mark Wahlberg version from the Boogie Nights soundtrack (it’s the hidden track after the last song) we’ll send you a t-shirt! Yes, I really really want this video to happen.

EDIT: and by all means, please feel free to include laser beams coming out of Dirk’s hands if you are capable of doing so.

Chris “Don’t Call Me Alfred” Bosh takes out a whole season’s worth of frustration on Matt Barnes (but mostly an empty space in front of the basket where a defender should be).

Would this play be more impressive if Bosh and Wade weren’t wearing leg-warmers? Yes it would.

another one! hahaha

What goes around, comes around. Nice work. I’m glad my original idea was taken and transformed into this. Now if only Gasol put the same effort & determination into showing up for big games…
